USAT Level 2 Endurance Coach
As the owner of the Fitness Lab, Whitney Burdzilauskas is a USA Triathlon Level 2 Endurance Coach, CrossFit level 1 instructor and ACE certified personal trainer. Since trying her first triathlon in 2003 and completing Ironman Florida in 2004, she’s completed countless half Ironman distance triathlons and somewhere around 20 Ironman distance triathlons. She qualified for the Hawaii Ironman 3 years in a row in the 30-34 age group (2013 – 2015) before racing professionally in 2016 and 2017. Her favorite race is the Hawaii 70.3!
Whitney coaches full time from her home base of San Diego, CA. Frequent trips back to Indy allow her to spend time with her athletes and Fitness Lab family. She loves coaching both beginner and advanced athletes and specializes in athletes who are focused on half-ironman and ironman distance triathlons. In addition to a long course coaching focus, her niches include strength training for athletes and training with power/data analytics.
In addition to triathlon, Whitney loves frequent trips to Hawaii, playing her ukulele, horseback riding, group rides with her husband and swimming with dolphins. She is furmom to 3 beautiful pups and they can often be found joining her on recovery runs.
Ironman Certified Coach
Cyndi Lindeman seeks to partner with dedicated athletes of all experience levels to drive to their best performances at endurance sports. Working side by side to, she strives to help her athletes achieve a new level of success. She works with them to design and execute training plans that align with their race goals, physical/mental state, and life balance needs.
Cyndi is an Ironman Certified Coach, an Ironman World Champion Competitor (2015), and has completed over 13 Ironman events having earn top 1% Gold Level All World Athlete since the program’s inception. She has earned USAT All American Honor Distinction every year since she started competing in triathlons regularly. On the running side, she is a 4X Boston Finisher having completed and qualified every marathon she has run since 2000 (over 10).
USAT Level 1 Certified Coach
Joe’s coaching philosophy is transformation through triathlon. He believes success in triathlon is achieved with community, communication, consistency, and core. He is referenced as a nurturing coach and applies a realistic and customized approach. He has completed 4 triathlons of 140.6 miles, multiple 70.3 races, and qualified for USAT Age Group Nationals. He coached his first athlete in 2015, completed the IRONMAN Coaching Certification, and a USAT Level 1 Coach. He has been part of the Fitness Lab community since 2011.
USAT Level 1 Certified Coach
Ashley’s coaching philosophy is work hard, recover harder. She believes in intensity with a purpose, and that finding balance is the key to longevity and success in multisport. Ashley works closely with her athletes to understand what motivates them, and develop a customized approach to help them reach their goals both on and off the race course. In her 13+ years in endurance sports, Ashley has competed in multiple Ironman and 70.3 triathlons, along with over 50 half and full marathons. In that time, she has gone from a back-of-the-pack athlete to regular podium finisher and 3x Boston Marathon qualifier. Ashley is a USAT Level 1 Certified Coach.
